Rice price today September 13, 2022: rice price increased slightly

Rice prices in the Mekong Delta increased today for all types of rice. Factories and traders traded a lot of autumn-winter rice, the market was bustling. In the world market, the offered price of rice for export continued to move sideways. Currently, the price of 5% broken rice is at 393 USD/ton; 25% broken rice is 378 USD/ton, 100% broken rice is 383 USD/ton. Information that India, the world’s largest grain exporter, has banned the export of broken rice and imposed a 20% tax on the export of many other grains in an effort to stabilize prices, meeting the needs of more than 1.3 billion people.
