According to the Vietnam Food Association, the export price of 5% broken rice is at 428 USD/ton, 25% broken rice is at 408 USD/ton. According to data from the General Statistics Office, in the first 9 months of 2022, our country’s rice export is estimated at 5.443 million tons, up 19.3% over the same period last year. Export turnover is estimated at 2.64 billion USD, up 9.3% over the same period last year. Assessing the market in the last months of the year, Mr. Huynh Van Thon – Chairman of the Board of Directors of Loc Troi Group said that currently, fluctuations in the world rice market such as war, supply chain disruption, climate change have led many countries to recalculate their food security needs.
