Accordingly, in the 2022-2023 winter-spring rice crop, the entire Southern region sowed about 1.58 million hectares, a decrease of over 6,100 hectares compared to the 2021-2022 winter-spring crop; of which, the Southeast region sowed 80,000 hectares (an increase of about 760 hectares), the Mekong Delta sowed about 1.5 million hectares (a decrease of over 6,800 hectares).
