rice price today 11/08/2022: Rice price continues to move sideways. Today’s rice price in the Mekong Delta continues to remain stable. According to traders, today the rice supply is stable, the demand is still quite high while the autumn-winter crop supply is limited. In the world market, the export rice price remains stable compared to yesterday. According to the Vietnam Food Association, the export price of 5% broken rice is at 428 USD/ton, 25% broken rice is at 408 USD/ton. Enterprises forecast that Vietnam’s rice export in 2022 may exceed the plan of 6.3-6.5 million tons, 100,000-200,000 tons higher than in 2021. Thus, after 10 months of 2022, the rice industry has achieved 93-96% of the export plan. With the remaining two months of the year, an average monthly export of about 150,000 – 250,000 tons is enough to complete the set target.
