In the world market, the offering price of 25% broken rice unexpectedly decreased by 4 USD/ton after many sessions of stability. In the world market, Vietnam’s export rice offering price was adjusted down by 4 USD/ton for 25% broken rice, down to 400-404 USD/ton. Meanwhile, prices of other types of rice continued to be stable, including: 5% broken rice at 425 – 429 USD/ton; 100% broken rice at 338-342 USD/ton and Jasmine at 583-587 USD/ton. According to data from Oryza, not only Vietnamese rice but also Thai and Pakistani rice prices have decreased. Accordingly, the prices of all three segments of 5%, 25% and 100% broken rice from Thailand have decreased. Specifically, 5% broken rice is 385-389 USD/ton (down 7 USD/ton compared to the beginning of the week); 25% broken rice is 376-380 USD/ton (down 7 USD/ton); 100% broken rice is 358-362 USD/ton. Similarly, Pakistani rice also decreased by 8-10 USD/ton compared to the previous trading session.
