Regarding the rice export situation, in the world market, the current export price of Vietnamese rice remains stable after an upward adjustment session. Specifically, the price of 100% broken rice is at 365 USD/ton; 5% broken rice is 418 USD/ton; 25% broken rice is 398 USD/ton; Jasmine rice is 513 – 517 USD/ton. According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Vietnam exported about 550,000 tons of rice in April with a value of 273 million USD. In the first 4 months, Vietnam exported 2.05 million tons with a value of 1 billion USD, up 4.4% in volume but down 6% in value compared to the same period in 2021. Although prices have decreased, Vietnamese rice prices remain higher than those of other countries.
