Specifically, Long An sticky rice is priced at VND5,100 – 5,500/kg; OM 18 is priced at VND6,400 – 6,600/kg; Dai Thom 8 is priced at VND6,400 – 6,600/kg; OM 9577, OM 9582 is priced at VND6,050/kg; OM 5451 is priced at VND6,300 – 6,500/kg; OM 6976 remains priced at VND6,000 – 6,150/kg; IR 50404 is priced at VND5,900 – 6,000/kg; Japanese rice 7,500 – 7,600 VND/kg; fresh sticky rice 5,000 – 5,100 VND/kg; Nang Hoa 9 at 6,100 – 6,200 VND/kg. Currently, there is little winter-spring rice, traders are asking to buy more dry rice, the market is bustling. Last week, according to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), rice prices fluctuated between localities.
