rice price today June 23, 2022: Export rice price increased by 5 USD/ton Today’s rice price in the Mekong Delta provinces has mixed adjustments between rice varieties. 100% broken rice for export increased by 5 USD/ton. In the world market, Vietnam’s export rice offering price has mixed adjustments between varieties. Currently, Vietnam’s 5% broken rice export price is stable at 418 USD/ton, down 5 USD/ton. Meanwhile, 100% broken rice has been adjusted up by 5 USD/ton to 383 USD/ton. In particular, 25% broken rice remains at 403 USD/ton. Thailand’s export rice price also decreased by 1 USD/ton for both 5% broken and 25% broken rice. Accordingly, the selling prices of these two types of rice are respectively 422 USD/ton and 417 USD/ton. 100% broken rice is stable at 409 USD/ton. Over the past 20 days, the export prices of Vietnamese and Thai rice have gradually narrowed the gap from 32 USD/ton on June 1, 2022 to 4 USD/ton on June 21, 2022. In contrast to Thai rice, the export prices of 5% broken rice and 25% broken rice of Pakistan were adjusted up by 5 USD/ton, the offering prices are respectively 413 USD/ton and 397 USD/ton. 100% broken rice is stable at 378 USD/ton.
