According to traders, today the amount of raw rice has increased, the warehouses have reduced purchases. Meanwhile, for broken rice and bran, the demand has increased slightly, the price remains high. Today’s export rice price on July 8 is stable. Currently, the export price of 5% broken rice from Vietnam is stable at 418 USD/ton, 100% broken rice is 383 USD/ton, 25% broken rice remains at 403 USD/ton. It is forecasted that Vietnam’s rice exports will continue to grow thanks to three driving forces from the Philippines, China and EU markets. Since winning the world’s best rice award in 2019, Vietnam’s ST25 specialty rice has quickly conquered many demanding markets such as the US, Germany, Japan, etc. Thanks to that, the price of this type of rice has also increased significantly, up to more than 1,000 USD/ton.
