Specifically, it is expected to support the livelihoods of about 300,000 rice farming households, reduce emissions of about 200,000 tons of CO2, reduce 20-30% of chemical waste, and save about 15% of input costs. To achieve this goal, the project will invite businesses in the rice value chain to participate, deploy improved rice cultivation methods, and reduce emissions. And to encourage businesses to participate, the project uses a reward mechanism based on the results achieved.
