rice price today, July 16, 2022: 5% broken rice price at 418 USD/ton rice prices today in the Mekong Delta provinces stagnated and remained unchanged after a downward adjustment session. In the world market, Vietnam’s export rice prices remained stable while Thai rice prices continuously decreased. Specifically, the current export price of 5% broken rice from Vietnam is stable at 418 USD/ton, 11 USD/ton higher than the same type of Thai rice; 25% broken rice is at 403 USD/ton, 4 USD/ton higher than Thai rice; 100% broken rice remains at 383 USD/ton. According to Mr. Phan Van Co – Marketing Director of Vrice Company Limited, the rice export market in the next 6 months will remain stable, however, traditional markets or markets using USD may reduce imports. The reason is that the USD is currently very high, customers buy more goods than before.
