rice price today July 26, 2022: Rice price adjusted down rice price today in the Mekong Delta provinces adjusted down for rice and bran. The market is slow. In the export market, the price of 25% broken rice decreased by 5 USD/ton. In the world market, the export price of Vietnam’s rice was adjusted down by 5 USD/ton for 25% broken rice. Meanwhile, the export price of 5% broken rice of Vietnam was stable at 418 USD/ton; 100% broken rice remained at 383 USD/ton. In the week from July 13 to 19, rice prices to all 3 main markets (Philippines, Africa and China) decreased slightly by 5 – 10 USD/ton compared to the price delivered in the previous week. After half of July 2022, the amount of rice shipped to the Philippines, Africa and Malaysia was still slow while the amount of customs clearance to China was quite low. The Philippines continued to lead with the import volume accounting for more than half of Vietnam’s total rice volume during the week. Rice deliveries to China were equivalent to the amount delivered last week. During the week, Chinese customers returned to ask to buy new summer-autumn sticky rice and broken rice from Long An. From July 13 to 19, rice deliveries to Africa were only 1/3 of the amount delivered in the previous 7 days with the main type being fragrant broken rice, while Dai Thom 8/OM18 decreased sharply.
