In June, the amount of rice cleared to the Philippines and Malaysia has not fluctuated much compared to the previous month. Meanwhile, the amount of rice to Africa continued to increase, while in the Chinese market it decreased sharply. Currently, the Philippines is still the largest rice export market, accounting for nearly 50% of the cleared volume in the past 2 weeks. Specifically, in the last 2 weeks of June, rice deliveries to the Philippines increased slightly compared to the first 2 weeks of the month. New transactions with Filipino customers are at a sporadic level. Rice shipments to Africa did not fluctuate much compared to the previous week.
