Pepper prices today, October 5, in the domestic market have been adjusted down by 500 – 1,000 VND/kg. Currently, domestic pepper prices are gradually decreasing to close to 60,000 VND/kg. In the world market, pepper prices continue to move negatively when recording an increase in Indonesia. In warehouses, prices have been adjusted down in most of the remaining countries. Specifically, in the trading session on October 4, the price of Brazilian black pepper decreased by 100 USD/ton to 2,550 USD/ton; Indian black pepper decreased by 26 USD/ton to 2,277 USD/ton; Vietnamese black pepper decreased by 50 USD/ton to 3,250 USD/ton for 500g/l black pepper and 2,250 USD/ton for 550g/l black pepper. Regarding white pepper, Muntok white pepper (Indonesia) increased by 7 USD/ton to 6,202 USD/ton. Meanwhile, Vietnamese white pepper decreased by 50 USD/ton to 4,850 USD/ton. According to forecasts of some export enterprises, pepper export will still face many difficulties in the coming time due to the impact of political tensions in Eastern Europe and China’s “Zezo Covid” policy. In addition, many countries in the world, including Vietnam, are about to enter a new harvest season with the expectation of achieving better productivity than last year’s harvest, so exporters are boosting sales to prepare for the new crop. In Dong Nai, many pepper farmers predict that the pepper yield in the upcoming pepper crop may be much better than last year’s harvest. In particular, the model of clean pepper production, organic pepper production and the chain linking production to consumption have many competitive advantages. Currently, localities in Dong Nai province are replicating the organic pepper production model, building a chain from production to consumption so that pepper products have a more sustainable output. Vietnam is the world’s largest pepper producer and exporter, accounting for about 60% of the total pepper output traded worldwide. However, the Vietnamese pepper industry is facing major challenges such as low prices and lack of sustainability. Therefore, sustainable pepper production is an important and inevitable task. One of the top priorities is to support small and medium enterprises and farmers to control pesticide residues in pepper; link production in the chain; promote communication and replicate safe pepper production models. #pepper #pepper #news #agriculture #nhanong #mientay #taynguyen #pepper #pepper price today #pepper price #pepper today #udaklak pepper price #ubinhphuoc pepper price #dongnai pepper price #freshest pepper price today #freshest pepper price #vungtau pepper price #gialai pepper price #udaknong pepper price
