Today’s domestic pepper price on November 22, 2022 remains at 58,000 – 61,500 VND/kg. In the first 17 days of November 2022, our country’s pepper export situation has shown a positive trend. Today’s pepper price in the world market tends to increase compared to yesterday. In Indonesia, Lampung black pepper price increased sharply by 3.75%, to 3,784 USD/ton; while the price of Muntok white pepper of this country increased by 1.09%, to 5,960 USD/ton. Meanwhile, the price of Kuching ASTA black pepper of Malaysia remains at 5,100 USD/ton; the price of ASTA white pepper of this country is at 7,300 USD/ton. For Vietnam’s export market, the prices of 500g/l and 550g/l black pepper remained at 3,100 and 3,200 USD/ton, respectively. The price of white pepper in Vietnam remained at 4,550 USD/ton. In Brazil, the price of ASTA 570 black pepper remained stable at 2,575 USD/ton. Mr. Kishore Shamji, President of the Indian Pepper and Spice Traders Association, said that pepper imported from Sri Lanka to the Indian market is at a higher price than the invoice price. The start of the harvest season in this island nation has created conditions for an increasing amount of goods to the Indian domestic market. According to data in September, the total amount of pepper imported from Sri Lanka reached 2,882 tons. Currently, the Indian market is witnessing weak demand after the festive season. In particular, the demand for green pepper for use in making pickles is quite popular. This type of pepper is being sold at 130 rupees/kg. There are concerns that this year’s pepper output is likely to decrease by about 20% due to erratic weather conditions. But in fact, this year’s pepper ripens faster than the previous two crops due to more favorable weather – compared to the rainy season two years ago. The domestic pepper market has not changed, continuing to stay below the threshold of 62,000 VND/kg. According to data from the first 17 days of November 2022 recently announced by the Vietnam Pepper Association, Vietnam exported 9,164 tons of pepper, with an export turnover of 32.6 million USD. Meanwhile, Vietnam imported 2,498 tons, of which black pepper reached 2,306 tons and white pepper reached 192 tons, with a total import turnover of 9.1 million USD. Pepper exports in October 2022 reached 17,596 tons of all kinds of pepper, an increase of 3,732 tons, or 26.92% compared to the previous month and an increase of 938 tons, or 5.63% compared to the same period last year. It can be seen that our country’s pepper export situation has a positive trend, especially to the Chinese market. #pepper #pepper #news #agriculture #nhanong #mientay #taynguyen #pepper #pepper price today #pepper price #pepper today #udaklak pepper price #ubinhphuoc pepper price #dongnai pepper price #freshest pepper price today #freshest pepper price #vungtau pepper price #gialai pepper price #udaknong pepper price
