Pepper prices today in Ba Ria – Vung Tau decreased sharply to 75,500 VND/kg – the highest pepper purchase price in the country today; In Binh Phuoc, pepper price today, May 21, is trading at 74,000 VND/kg, down 1,000 VND compared to yesterday. Earlier this week, the International Pepper Community adjusted Vietnam’s black and white pepper export prices down 50 USD/ton. Specifically, white pepper export price is 5,900 USD/ton, black pepper export price is 3,900 USD/ton for 500g/l. Thus, Vietnam’s pepper export price has decreased by 90 USD/ton compared to the beginning of the month. In the first 4 months of 2022, exports reached a total of 77,810 tons of pepper of all kinds, down 15,747 tons of pepper, or down 16.83% compared to the same period last year. Agricultural product prices today in the domestic market decreased in both coffee and pepper.
