Pepper prices today, July 16, 2022, in the country were mostly stable, only slightly decreasing by 500 VND/kg in Ba Ria. This caused domestic pepper prices to lose the 70,000 VND/kg mark. In the world market, Pepper prices today were mainly stable but showed a negative outlook this week. No country reported an increase in pepper prices. The reason was that the Indian Rupee weakened against the US Dollar, recording a 1% decrease, so pepper prices in this country reacted negatively in the past 2 weeks. Pepper prices in Indonesia and Malaysia were stable and unchanged. Meanwhile, with unstable political developments in the country, after 2 weeks of increase, Sri Lankan pepper prices have leveled off. Domestic pepper prices were stable in most localities, but decreased by 500 VND/kg in Ba Ria province compared to the same time yesterday. Thus, after consecutive declines, domestic pepper prices have officially lost the 70,000 VND/kg mark, in the context of rising global inflation that has negatively affected commodity markets in general and pepper in particular. In contrast to the gloomy domestic situation, the positive signal is that Vietnam’s black and white pepper export prices have been listed stably by the International Pepper Community since the beginning of the month. Accordingly, the export price of 500g/l black pepper is at 3,650 USD/ton, 550g/l at 3,900 USD/ton, and white pepper at 5,700 USD/ton. Importers are still waiting for other positive market signals before buying to supplement their significantly decreasing reserves. #pepper #hotpepper #news #agriculture #nhanong #mientay #taynguyen #pepper #pepper price today #pepper price #pepper today #pepper price udaklak #pepper price ubinhphuoc #pepper price dongnai #the latest pepper price
