Some rice varieties such as fresh hulled sticky rice, fresh Long An sticky rice, Jasmine and Japanese rice are currently running out of supply due to the end of the harvest. In the export market, the offering price of 5% broken parboiled rice from Vietnam today decreased by 5 USD/ton, down to 393-398 USD/ton; Jasmine rice decreased by 5 USD/ton, down to 563-567 USD/ton. Meanwhile, 25% broken rice is stable at 378-382 USD/ton; 100% broken rice is at 328-332 USD/ton.
