Latest fertilizer prices today December 15, 2021: Domestic fertilizer prices continue to stagnate at high levels. Retail prices of fertilizers on the world market continued to increase in the first week of December. Five out of eight major fertilizers increased by at least 6% compared to November. Accordingly, anhydrous fertilizer leads the list with an average price of 1,313 USD/ton, a record number ever. Compared to the previous month, the price increased by 18%. UAN32 is also 9% more expensive than last month with an average price of 661 USD/ton. UAN28 and urea both increased by 6% to 575 USD/ton and 873 USD/ton, respectively. All three types set new price records. Compared to the previous month, 10-34-0 base fertilizer increased by 8% and traded at 756 USD/ton. The prices of anhydrous fertilizer, UAN28, UAN32, and urea increased by 208%, 177%, 166%, and 143%, respectively, compared to a year ago. The sharp increase in fertilizer prices is putting pressure on farmers and businesses around the world.
