Latest fertilizer prices on February 20, 2022: Fertilizer prices of all kinds continue to remain stable. Although fertilizer prices in early 2022 have shown signs of cooling down, fertilizer prices are still high, significantly affecting domestic agricultural production. Vinacam would like to make some comments on the potassium Fertilizer market since March. Earlier this week, after finalizing a large quantity of granular potash for India at a price of 590 USD/ton, Campotex continued to finalize a 2022 framework contract for China at the same level. Thus, compared to the final price in the adjacent contract, the Indian price has increased by 145 USD/ton and China has increased by 343 USD/ton compared to last year’s framework contract price of 147 USD/ton. Other suppliers such as Israel and Russia have not accepted this framework contract price but are asking for 600 USD/ton. Immediately after closing the contract with India and China, small potash offers to Southeast Asia, including Vietnam, were pushed up to 620-650 USD/ton compared to the previous price of 555 USD/ton. With the new price, imported goods to Vietnam from April 2022 will have a cost of up to 14,600,000 – 15,000,000 VND/ton. Fortunately, Vietnam has imported a large amount of powdered potash at an acceptable price in 2021, so it probably will not be immediately affected by world prices. However, the picture will be different when the old price imports gradually run out and certainly from June 2022 the market will have to adjust to the new price. It is a real headache for NPK factories and farmers in the country. Perhaps the solution is to buy as needed, except for speculators with plenty of money at the moment. #fertilizer_price #farmers #western_region #fertilizer_price #fertilizer #fertilizer #fertilizer #potassium_price #agriculture #fertilizer #agricultural materials
