Vietnam spends nearly 1.5 billion USD on fertilizer imports According to the Center for Industry and Trade Information – Ministry of Industry and Trade (VITIC), in the first 11 months of the year, China is still the leading fertilizer supplier to Vietnam with nearly 1.6 million tons, equivalent to 666 million USD, down 15% in volume, but up 22% in turnover compared to the same period in 2021. Currently, fertilizer supply from China accounts for 51% of the total volume and 45.5% of the total fertilizer import turnover of the country. Next, the Russian market ranked second with 216,678 tons, equivalent to 156 million USD, down 35% in volume but up 37% in value compared to the same period in 2021.
