fertilizer prices today, April 16, 2022: Trading enterprises are offering to re-export part of their inventory of Potassium due to weak domestic demand and record high world prices. Russian NPK imports have been blocked, imports from China are stuck due to technical barriers from customs inspection. The bright spot for NPK imported from Korea has just been officially announced “can only produce NP because Potassium sources are exhausted”. Along with a series of small-scale NPK factories temporarily closing due to high raw material prices and unprofitable production, the price of domestically produced NPK is now really in the hands of “Big guys” with strong potential such as Binh Dien, Phu My and Ca Mau… With this situation, the pillow sales to agents from the next crop will certainly be tightened. This is also a lucrative opportunity for counterfeit, fake, and poor quality goods to take the throne! China is still the leading fertilizer supplier to Vietnam, accounting for 39% of the total volume and 33% of the total value of fertilizer imports of the country, reaching 362,458 tons, equivalent to 145.4 million USD, with an average price of 401.2 USD/ton, down 22.5% in volume, but up 17.8% in value. The price of fertilizer imported from China increased by 52% in price compared to the first quarter of 2021. The second largest fertilizer import market, Russia, still maintained a fairly high increase in both volume and value, with 110,396 tons, equivalent to 68 million USD, with an average price of 616.5 USD/ton, up sharply by 75.3% in volume and 220.7% in value. The price of fertilizer imported from Russia increased by 82.9% compared to the first quarter of last year. #fertilizer_price #farmers #western region #fertilizer_price #fertilizer #fertilizer #fertilizer #potassium_price #agriculture #fertilizer #agricultural materials
