fertilizer prices today, July 27, 2022: Urea demand is not high, second-level agents only import goods in moderation. Fear of Phosphate crisis, DAP is difficult to cool down. While the prices of two raw materials used to produce fertilizers, sulfur and sulfuric acid, are slowing down in the discount session last week. Experts are concerned about a potential crisis from another important raw material, Phosphate – an indispensable raw material in agriculture. To ensure a bumper crop, farmers are required to provide crops with a large amount of Phosphate. But Phosphate mines in the world can be counted on the fingers, not to mention that they are located in politically unstable countries, putting pressure on countries that have little or no Phosphorus storage. The use of phosphate fertilizers has increased fourfold in the past 50 years, and at the current rate of use, experts predict that many countries will run out of domestic supplies in the near future. In fact, the typical phosphate fertilizer product, DAP, is always in a state of high prices, exporting countries are cautious, while importing countries are limited. And Vietnam is no exception, DAP prices have fluctuated little in the first 6 months of this year, and have always remained at a high level. #fertilizer_price #farmers #western region #fertilizer_price #fertilizer #fertilizer #potassium_price #agriculture #fertilizer #agricultural materials #news #agriculture
