fertilizer prices today, August 13, 2022: Domestic fertilizer prices are stable. Prices of some raw materials for fertilizer production are increasing slightly. However, the world market records that fertilizer prices are currently stable. Specifically, the price of yellow phosphorus is 4,081 USD/ton, up 2% compared to the previous day. Since the beginning of the week, the price of this item has increased by 5%. Urea prices also increased by nearly 1% and traded at 344 USD/ton. However, compared to mid-May, urea prices are still 30% lower. Sulfur prices also increased by 3% to 167 USD/ton. Despite the increase, the price of this item is still about 70% lower than the peak at the end of May. Sulfuric acid prices are 68 USD/ton, also unchanged compared to the previous day. Currently, the prices of raw materials for fertilizer production are stable and have increased slightly, but have also cooled down a lot compared to the previous peak price. However, world potash prices remain high due to scarce supply. China is also a country that depends heavily on imported potash from the world, with increasingly scarce potash supplies. Currently, potash prices in China are at around 3,647 yuan (564 USD)/ton, up 91% year-on-year and the highest since 2013. Canada – the world’s largest potash producing region, is under the most pressure as orders for potash are pouring in. However, Canada’s potash output is only enough to meet the needs of a few European countries. Potash supplies are scarce globally and Vietnam is also in the same situation, currently the potash supply is dependent on supplies from Laos. Therefore, domestic potash prices remain stable and are unlikely to cool down. Currently, the price of pink and red powdered Berlarus potash is 1.83 million VND/100 kg, up 30% compared to the beginning of the year. #fertilizer_price #farmers #western region #fertilizer_price #fertilizer #fertilizer #potassium_price #agriculture #fertilizer #agricultural materials #news #agriculture
