Coffee prices today, September 5, 2022, in the domestic and world markets are stable. Currently, domestic coffee prices are trading at 47,300 – 47,900 VND/kg. In the world market, coffee prices today are stable on both major exchanges. In the latest trading session, the price of Robusta coffee on the London floor for delivery in September 2022 was at 2,220 USD/ton; and for delivery in November 2022 was at 2,223 USD/ton. Meanwhile, the price of Arabica coffee on the New York floor for delivery in September 2022 was at 232.65 cents/lb; and for delivery in December 2022 remained at 228.8 cents/lb. Last week, world coffee prices fell sharply, with trading volume on both exchanges at an average level. In particular, Robusta coffee prices on the London floor had 4 consecutive sessions of decline and 1 session off at the beginning of the week. Specifically, Robusta coffee futures for November delivery decreased by 56 USD (down 2.46%), to 2,223 USD/ton and futures for January 2023 delivery decreased by 45 USD (down 1.99%), to 2,215 USD/ton. Meanwhile, on the New York floor, Arabica coffee prices had 3 sessions of decline and 2 sessions of increase in the middle of the week. Arabica coffee futures for December delivery decreased by 9.30 cents (down 3.91%), to 228.80 cents/lb and futures for March 2023 delivery decreased by 9.55 cents (down 4.12%), to 222.10 cents/lb. The reason for the sharp decline in the world coffee market is due to the increased risk concerns following the Fed Chairman’s announcement at the Jackson Hole Conference that he would tighten policy to drastically prevent inflation. The continuous increase in USDX has pushed emerging currencies into a weak position, causing commodity and stock markets to plummet continuously. The report of Eurozone inflation reaching 9.1% compared to last year has forced the European Central Bank (ECB) to announce that it will raise the basic interest rate of the Euro at the upcoming policy meeting and the following sessions to push back inflation. The domestic coffee market last week fell sharply, down by 1,000 VND/kg compared to the previous weekend. Currently, domestic coffee prices have not been able to recover to the 48,000 VND/kg mark. #coffee_price #coffee_price_today #latest_coffee_price #standard_coffee_price #coffee_price_trend #coffee_price #coffee_price #agriculture #nhannong #mientay #lamdong_coffee_price #edaklak_coffee_price #daknong_coffee_price #gialai_coffee_price #kontum_coffee_price #world_coffee_price
