Coffee prices today, September 13, 2022, in both the world and domestic markets decreased simultaneously. In particular, the domestic coffee market decreased by 100 VND/kg, to 47,700 – 48,300 VND/kg. In the world market, coffee prices today decreased simultaneously on 2 major trading floors. In the latest trading session, the price of Robusta coffee on the London floor for September 2022 delivery decreased by 2 USD/ton to 2,256 USD/ton, and the price of November 2022 delivery decreased by 1 USD/ton to 2,263 USD/ton. Meanwhile, the price of Arabica coffee on the New York floor for September 2022 delivery decreased by 3.75 cents/lb, to 227.75 cents/lb, and the price of December 2022 delivery decreased by 3.75 cents/lb, to 224.75 cents/lb. The world coffee market is slightly decreasing in today’s session. After a strong increase last weekend, Arabica coffee prices on the New York floor weakened again. Robusta coffee prices continued to decrease slightly as the rainy weather was favorable for the development of coffee trees in Vietnam. The USD is showing a weakening trend after the European Central Bank (ECB) raised interest rates by 75 basis points, the strongest increase in history. This helped the Real increase again in the USD/Brazil Real exchange rate pair, helping to promote selling pressure from Brazilian farmers, thereby limiting the price increase. Currently, the market is waiting for information on the US CPI announced on the evening of September 13. The report on Arabica coffee inventories on the New York floor showed signs of improvement, while Robusta coffee inventories continued to decrease. The reason is that investors are not interested in bringing coffee to the floor to register for auction because the outside market has more attractive prices. The Import-Export Department forecasts that world coffee prices will continue to increase in the coming time due to concerns about supply shortages. Along with the slight decline in the world coffee market, domestic coffee prices are also decreasing slightly today. In the first 8 months of 2022, Vietnam’s coffee exports are estimated at 1.24 million tons, worth 2.82 billion USD, up 14.7% in volume and 39.6% in value over the same period in 2021. It is expected that by the end of September 2022, coffee export turnover will exceed the 3.07 billion USD achieved in the whole of last year. In the first 8 months of 2022, the average export price of Vietnam’s coffee is estimated at 2,268 USD/ton, an increase of 21.7% over the same period in 2021. #coffee_price #coffee_price_today #latest_coffee_price #standard_coffee_price #coffee_price_trend #coffee_price #coffee_price #agriculture #nhannong #mientay #lamdong_coffee_price #edaklak_coffee_price #daknong_coffee_price #gialai_coffee_price #kontum_coffee_price #worldwide_coffee_price
