Coffee prices today, October 30, 2022, are still maintained at 40,400 – 41,000 VND/kg. The domestic coffee market this week has dropped sharply from 2,500 – 2,800 VND/kg. In the world market, coffee prices today are flat on both major exchanges. In the latest trading session, the price of Robusta coffee on the London floor for delivery in January 2023 remained at 1,849 USD/ton. And the price of coffee for delivery in March 2023 on this floor was at 1,837 USD/ton. Meanwhile, the price of Arabica coffee on the New York floor for delivery in December 2022 was at 169.8 cents/lb. For delivery in March 2023, the price of coffee on this floor was at 167.75 cents/lb. The world coffee market remains stable today. Overall, world coffee prices fell sharply this week. Robusta coffee prices on the London exchange for January 2023 delivery fell sharply to 147 USD/ton; while Arabica coffee prices for December 2022 delivery fell sharply by 21.1 cents/lb. With this decrease, Arabica coffee is at its lowest price in the past 14 months, while Robusta coffee fell to its lowest level in the past 13 months. In the last session of this week, world coffee prices fell sharply due to concerns that major central banks will raise interest rates further after the US GDP report in the third quarter increased. Signs of falling inflation will help the Fed be more aggressive at the upcoming meeting in setting a minimum interest rate of 1%, much higher than previously speculated. Meanwhile, information that China has partially locked down Wuhan has also raised concerns about a drop in demand for goods. According to experts, there are 4 reasons for the current sharp decline in the coffee market: – Capital management funds have switched to net selling; – Robusta coffee inventories are showing no shortage of goods; – Coffee supply is abundant; – The US has lowered food prices to satisfy people before the National Assembly election. The domestic coffee market is stabilizing again today. However, compared to last week, domestic coffee prices have lost 2,500 – 2,800 VND/kg. Abundant supply, weak consumption and the continuously rising USD are the core reasons why the domestic coffee market cannot recover and is “shaking” at the threshold of 41,000 VND/kg. #coffee_price #coffee_price_today #latest_coffee_price #standard_coffee_price #coffee_price_trend #coffee_price #coffee_price #agriculture #nhannong #mientay #lamdong_coffee_price #edaklak_coffee_price #daknong_coffee_price #gialai_coffee_price #kontum_coffee_price #world_coffee_price
