Coffee prices today, July 27, 2022, both in the world and domestic markets increased. Currently, domestic coffee prices are trading around 42,500 – 43,000 VND/kg. In the world market, coffee prices today continued to increase on both major exchanges. At the end of the latest trading session, Robusta coffee prices on the London floor for September 2022 delivery increased by 1 USD/ton to 1,974 USD/ton, and for November 2022 delivery increased by 2 USD/ton to 1,974 USD/ton. Meanwhile, Arabica coffee prices on the New York floor for September 2022 delivery increased by 3.15 cents/lb to 213.2 cents/lb, and for December 2022 delivery increased by 3.3 cents/lb to 209.45 cents/lb. As the market awaits information from the Fed’s July 2022 policy meeting, the reason for the decrease in standard inventories on the floor continued to help Arabica coffee increase in the last session. Robusta coffee was hesitant and ended the session slightly up. Since the beginning of the week, commodity prices in general and coffee prices in particular have recovered thanks to investment cash flows pouring in to increase buying positions when the attraction of the USD has somewhat cooled down. As usual, the increase and decrease range of coffee prices on the New York floor is somewhat stronger than that of coffee on the London floor due to monetary factors when the Real has recovered strongly against the USD. In the past 3 sessions, the USD has decreased continuously, due to increasing recession concerns, and in the context of investors waiting for the US Federal Reserve (Fed) to announce its policy. Consulting firm Safras & Mercado said that Brazilian farmers have harvested 2/3 of the 2022/23 coffee crop on July 19. While the pace of recovery is slower than the initial recovery, it is still below the 73% average for the same period last year. Safras forecasts Brazil’s 2022/23 crop at 61.1 million 60kg bags, well above the government’s estimate of 53.4 million. Most market analysts expect higher output. HedgePoint forecasts a crop of around 60 million bags, Rabobank forecasts 64.5 million bags, and the US Department of Agriculture forecasts 64.3 million bags. #coffee_price #coffee_price_today #latest_coffee_price #standard_coffee_price #coffee_price_trend #cafe_price #coffee_price #agriculture #nhanong #mientay
