Currently, the USD exchange rate is still a strong factor influencing the commodity market, including coffee. In a survey conducted from July 14-20, 98 out of 102 economists predicted that the Fed would raise interest rates by 75 basis points at the end of the meeting on July 26-27 to around 2.25-2.5%. The remaining experts predicted that the Fed would increase by 100 basis points. In the last two sessions of last week, the coffee market turned down. The reason was the lack of investors.
