Coffee prices today, July 1, 2022, fluctuated in the world market. Meanwhile, domestic coffee prices remained stable; maintained at 42,500 – 43,000 VND/kg. At the end of the latest trading session, Robusta coffee prices on the London floor for July 2022 delivery decreased by 16 USD/ton to 2,018 USD/ton, and for September 2022 delivery decreased by 16 USD/ton to 2,033 USD/ton. Meanwhile, Arabica coffee prices on the New York floor for July 2022 delivery increased by 0.95 cents/lb to 233.6 cents/lb, and for September 2022 delivery increased by 1.85 cents/lb to 230.1 cents/lb. World coffee prices fluctuated as Arabica coffee continued to increase after information that ICE-managed coffee inventories had dropped to a 22-year low, right after a significant amount of coffee was transferred from warehouses in Europe to the US for delivery to industrialists when supplies from major producers in Central and South America showed signs of depletion. In addition, the slow harvest of the new crop in Brazil due to unfavorable weather also boosted Arabica prices in recent days. However, the slight increase in coffee on the New York floor could not pull up the London floor. Robusta coffee prices turned down after only one session of increase. In the first half of 2022, coffee prices on the London floor lost 253 USD, equivalent to 11%; meanwhile, coffee prices on the New York floor are increasing by 2.49%. Declining inventories and unfavorable weather in Brazil – Colombia continue to be the driving force for Arabica coffee prices to increase in the coming time. The General Statistics Office of Vietnam estimates that coffee exports in June 2022 reached 2.41 million bags, up 13.30% year-on-year. Therefore, cumulative coffee exports in the first 9 months of the current coffee crop year 2021/2022 reached a total of 19.87 million bags, up 7.35% year-on-year. #coffee_price #coffee_price_today #latest_coffee_price #standard_coffee_price #coffee_price_trend #cafe_price #coffee_price #agriculture #nhanong #mientay
