Coffee prices today, November 17, 2022, domestically and internationally, continued to decline. In particular, domestic coffee prices decreased by another 200 VND/kg, to 38,900 – 39,400 VND/kg. In the world market, coffee prices today continued to decrease on both major exchanges. In the latest trading session, Robusta coffee prices on the London floor for delivery in January 2023 decreased by 10 USD/ton (equivalent to 0.55%), down to 1,792 USD/ton. And coffee prices for delivery in March 2023 on this floor are also decreasing by 10 USD/ton (equivalent to 0.56%), down to 1,778 USD/ton. Meanwhile, Arabica coffee prices on the New York floor for delivery in December 2022 decreased by another 1.30 cents/lb (equivalent to 0.83%), down to 155.45 cents/lb. For March 2023 delivery, coffee prices on this floor are falling sharply by 1.10 cents/lb (equivalent to 0.69%), at 158.4 cents/lb. The world coffee market continues to decline due to strong speculative net selling, in anticipation of abundant supply as most coffee growing countries are currently harvesting the new crop of the 2022/2023 crop year. The positive point is that during the trading session, Robusta coffee prices on the London floor increased quite strongly, only ending the session down, breaking the psychological mark of 1,781 USD/ton. Up to now, Brazil has sold about 37.51 million bags of coffee of all kinds, accounting for about 65% of the 2022/23 crop output, lower than the 72% sold of the previous crop but still higher than the 5-year average of 64%. Domestic coffee prices continue to decline for the third consecutive session. With consecutive declines in recent days, coffee prices in Lam Dong have dropped below 39,000 VND/kg. Currently, the new coffee harvest is still taking place. Regarding coffee export prices, the average for the first 10 months was 2,283 USD/ton, an increase of 21.2% over the same period in 2021. Therefore, this year, our country has had a good coffee crop and good prices. However, at present, experts predict that Robusta coffee prices will not increase in the near future, even though the oversupply business position is very deep due to the USD. In the previous crop, Vietnam mainly exported Robusta coffee with 1.5 million tons, worth 2.97 billion USD; Arabica coffee beans were only exported 60 thousand tons, worth 260 million USD; decaffeinated coffee beans were 26,000 tons, worth 76.9 million USD. #coffee_price #coffee_price_today #latest_coffee_price #standard_coffee_price #coffee_price_trend #coffee_price #coffee_price #agriculture #nhannong #mientay #lamdong_coffee_price #edaklak_coffee_price #daknong_coffee_price #gialai_coffee_price #kontum_coffee_price #world_coffee_price
