Coffee prices today, October 16, 2022, are all flat. This week, domestic coffee prices fell sharply from 1,800 – 1,900 VND/kg, trading at 44,500 – 45,000 VND/kg. In the world market, coffee prices today remained stable on both major exchanges. In the latest trading session, the price of Robusta coffee on the London floor for November 2022 delivery remained at 2,061 USD/ton. And the price of coffee for January 2023 delivery on this floor stopped the weekly session at 2,051 USD/ton. Meanwhile, the price of Arabica coffee on the New York floor for December 2022 delivery is anchored at 196.7 cents/lb. For March 2023 delivery, the price of coffee on this floor remained at 193 cents/lb. Today, world coffee prices are maintaining yesterday’s trading level. To summarize this week, the world coffee market has fallen dramatically. In particular, the price of Robusta coffee for November 2022 delivery on the London floor has dropped sharply to 94 USD/ton; while the price of Arabica coffee for December 2022 delivery is falling sharply by 21.4 cents/lb. In the last sessions of the week, the world coffee market has continuously fallen sharply after the report of the US producer price index (PPI) increasing again after 2 consecutive months of decline. The US consumer price index (CPI) report for September was higher than expected, US inflation reached 8.2% higher than estimated… making the market worry that the Fed will take stronger measures at the upcoming policy meeting. USDX continued to increase, contributing to the continued weakening of purchasing power of goods. Coffee prices on both exchanges continued to sink deeper into negative territory as funds and speculators aggressively liquidated net positions before the expiration of November futures options, due to concerns about increased risks due to pressure from monetary interest rates and abundant supply. In addition, news that Vietnam will bring new coffee crop 2022 – 2023 to the market in the coming days; and favorable rains in key coffee growing regions of Brazil further caused the agricultural market to plummet. The domestic coffee market today is maintaining stability after previous sharp declines. Along with the sharp decline of the world market, domestic coffee prices this week are also falling sharply, down to 1,800 – 1,900 VND/kg. And are trading below the threshold of 45,000 VND/kg. #coffee_price #coffee_price_today #latest_coffee_price #standard_coffee_price #coffee_price_trend #coffee_price #coffee_price #agriculture #nhannong #mientay #lamdong_coffee_price #edaklak_coffee_price #daknong_coffee_price #gialai_coffee_price #kontum_coffee_price #world_coffee_price
