Meanwhile, the price of Arabica coffee on the New York floor for December 2022 delivery was at 223.55 cents/lb; and that for March 2023 delivery was trading at 214.1 cents/lb. Although the world coffee market decreased slightly in the last sessions of the week, overall this week is increasing. Accordingly, the price of Robusta coffee in London for November 2022 delivery increased by 17 USD/ton; while the price of Arabica coffee for December 2022 delivery increased by 4.65 cents/lb. In the last session of the week, world coffee prices turned to decline in both futures markets due to the lack of speculators due to high lending interest rates. The USD continued to increase, creating pressure on purchasing. According to observers, coffee futures prices do not currently reflect actual market prices.
