Coffee prices today, August 22, 2022, in the domestic market are maintained at 48,100 – 48,600 VND/kg. Last week, the domestic coffee market decreased slightly by 400 VND/kg. In the world market, coffee prices today remained stable on both major trading floors. In the latest trading session, the price of Robusta coffee on the London floor for delivery in September 2022 continued to be at 2,226 USD/ton; delivery in November 2022 was at 2,226 USD/ton. Meanwhile, the price of Arabica coffee on the New York floor for delivery in September 2022 remained at 215.95 cents/lb; delivery in December 2022 increased by 1.50 cents/lb, at 213.35 cents/lb. The world coffee market fell sharply last week. Of which, Robusta coffee prices fell sharply by 26 USD/ton, while Arabica coffee prices fell by 1.07 cents/lb. Experts predict that world coffee prices may continue to increase in the future, because coffee inventories continue to be in deficit and it is difficult to provide enough in the near future. In its July report, the International Coffee Organization (ICO) still forecast the global coffee supply in the 2021-2022 crop year at 167.2 million bags, down more than 2.1% compared to the previous crop year. In addition, ICO forecasts that coffee consumption will increase by 3.3% to 170.3 million bags. The global coffee market is expected to have a deficit of about 3.1 million bags in the 2021-2022 crop year. At the same time, the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) has adjusted the world coffee production in the 2021-2022 crop year down 300,000 bags compared to the forecast made in December last year, down to 167.1 million bags. Of which, Brazil increased by 1.8 million bags to 58.1 million bags thanks to higher-than-expected Arabica coffee production. However, Honduras’s output was adjusted down by 1.4 million bags due to the impact of leaf rust. Colombia’s coffee production also decreased by 800,000 bags due to heavy rain and lack of sunshine reducing production. In addition, Ivory Coast’s output was also cut by 670,000 bags due to lower production. Coffee prices in the domestic market today continue to stay high, reaching the highest level of 48,600 VND/kg. Overall, the domestic coffee market has been decreasing in price over the past week, down about 400 VND/kg compared to the previous week. #coffee_price #coffee_price_today #latest_coffee_price #standard_coffee_price #coffee_price_trend #coffee_price #coffee_price #agriculture #nhannong #mientay #lamdong_coffee_price #edaklak_coffee_price #daknong_coffee_price #gialai_coffee_price #kontum_coffee_price #world_coffee_price
