Coffee prices today, August 19, 2022, in the world and domestic markets, had another slight decrease. In which, domestic coffee prices decreased to 47,800 – 48,300 VND/kg. In the world market, coffee prices today decreased slightly on both major trading floors. At the end of the latest trading session, Robusta coffee prices on the London floor for September 2022 delivery decreased by 2 USD/ton to 2,215 USD/ton, and for November 2022 delivery decreased by 6 USD/ton to 2,218 USD/ton. Meanwhile, Arabica coffee prices on the New York floor for September 2022 delivery decreased by 2.75 cents/lb to 214.7 cents/lb, and for December 2022 delivery decreased by 2.55 cents/lb to 211.85 cents/lb. The world coffee market has yet to recover after a third session of price decline. However, the decline is gradually shortening and is expected to stabilize in the near future. World coffee prices have fallen amid concerns that China’s economy could decline further due to the real estate crisis and the “zero Covid” policy. As of August 15, Robusta coffee inventories on the London exchange had decreased by another 1,910 tons, or 1.91% compared to the previous week, to 98,180 tons (equivalent to 1,636,334 bags, 60 kg bags). However, this week, inventories have increased again, causing coffee prices on this exchange to fall even more sharply. Meanwhile, Arabica coffee inventories on the New York exchange continue to be at their highest level in 23 years and there are still no signs of any additions. Domestic coffee prices continued to decline, becoming the third consecutive session of decline. However, this decrease is small, so the domestic coffee price remains high. Currently, many agents are holding on to their goods and waiting for prices to increase again before selling. #coffee_price #coffee_price_today #latest_coffee_price #standard_coffee_price #coffee_price_trend #cafe_price #coffee_price #agriculture #nhanong #mientay
