Warehouses have no bran to sell. For Vietnamese rice, the current export price of rice has stagnated and remained the same. Currently, the export price of 5% broken rice from Vietnam is stable at 418 USD/ton, 100% broken rice is 383 USD/ton, 25% broken rice remains at 403 USD/ton. Statistics show that in the first 6 months of the year, the country’s rice export is estimated at 3.520 million tons, up 16.2% over the same period in 2021, earning about 1.72 billion USD. Rice is one of 28 items with an export value of over 1 billion USD in the first 6 months of 2022. Since the beginning of June 2022, the price of high-quality rice exports has tended to increase, from 10-15 USD/ton compared to May. Common rice varieties such as IR504, OM5451, Dai Thom 8… are also having good prices thanks to many countries increasing their purchases.
