fertilizer prices today, May 5, 2022: World fertilizer prices ‘cool down’ According to Fertilizer Pricing, the fertilizer price index in North America on the Green Markets channel in the week ending April 29 was 1,034 USD/ton, down 11% compared to the previous week. Compared to the peak price at the end of March, the price decreased by 18.6%. Meanwhile, in the Chinese market, the price of urea on May 3 was 460 USD/ton, unchanged from May 2. In April, the price of this item increased by 2.8%. Compared to the beginning of the year, the price of urea is 15% higher. DAP prices also remained the same as on May 2 and were at 556 USD/ton. Since the beginning of the year, DAP prices are about 2% higher. Yellow phosphorus prices are also the same as on May 2 at 5,523 USD/ton. In the Vietnamese market, the Vietnam Chemical Group (Vinachem) said that the current situation of the Fertilizer market is fluctuating. Prices of fertilizers in the world market and the domestic market are continuously increasing, mainly because most of the raw materials used for domestic fertilizer production must be imported and these raw materials have increased sharply in price recently. The scarcity of empty containers and lack of raw materials for production (such as lack of selected apatite ore to produce NP fertilizer) also contributed to the increase in fertilizer prices. #fertilizer_price #farmers #western region #fertilizer_price #fertilizer #fertilizer #fertilizer #potassium_price #agriculture #fertilizer #agricultural materials
