fertilizer prices today, June 22, 2022: Fertilizer prices remained unchanged after a slight decrease yesterday. The market traded slowly. Fertilizer export turnover in the first 5 months of this year reached 500 million USD, up 2.7 times over the same period last year and nearly equal to the revenue of the whole year of 2021. However, this achievement is unlikely to be repeated in the second half of this year when fertilizer prices on the market are showing signs of cooling down. According to data from the General Department of Customs, our country’s fertilizer exports in May continued to increase by 28.7% in volume and 148.7% in value over the same period last year, reaching 132,624 tons, worth 87.8 million USD. This brought the total fertilizer export in the first 5 months of the year to a record high of 759,812 tons with a turnover reaching 500 million USD, up 32.1% in volume and 2.7 times in turnover over the same period. Thus, after only 5 months of the year, the fertilizer export turnover was almost equal to last year. In 2021, the whole country exported nearly 1.4 million tons, earning 559 million USD. This increase was mainly due to businesses taking advantage of market opportunities to boost sales at a time when global fertilizer supply was scarce and prices were skyrocketing. #fertilizer_price #farmers #western region #fertilizer_price #fertilizer #fertilizer #potassium_price #agriculture #fertilizer #agricultural materials #news #agriculture
