Russia-Ukraine tensions create opportunities for Vietnamese fertilizer businesses to increase exports, benefiting when prices reach a 50-year peak. Fertilizer export turnover in 7 months reached 722 million USD, 30% higher than the whole year of 2021. According to data from the General Department of Customs, our country’s fertilizer export in July reached 113 thousand tons, equivalent to 75 million USD, down 48% in volume and 49% in value compared to June. In the first 7 months of the year, fertilizer export reached 1.1 million tons with a turnover of nearly 722 million USD, up 41.5% in volume and up to 2.7 times in turnover compared to the same period in 2021.
