fertilizer prices today, September 9, 2022: Urea prices in China increased by nearly 1%, the highest since August According to Sunsirs, the spot price of urea in China today was 62 USD/ton, up nearly 1% compared to the previous day and the highest level in more than 40 days. Meanwhile, DAP prices were flat at 617 USD/ton but 10% lower than the peak recorded on July 25. Raw materials in fertilizer production also remained flat compared to September 7. Sulfur was 161 USD/ton. The price of this commodity has fluctuated little since the beginning of August. The price of yellow phosphorus was 4,847 USD/ton, unchanged from the previous day after increasing continuously since August 7. Currently, the price of yellow phosphorus is 28% higher than the bottom on August 7. Urea futures in the Middle East rose 0.7% to $715/ton, reversing the trend from September 1. Previously, from August 25 to August 29, the price of this commodity increased sharply. The current price is 12% higher than the bottom recorded on August 24. There are three main issues that need to be considered to forecast the upcoming urea price. The first is the result of India’s bidding on September 9, peak season demand and the gas crisis in Europe. The second quarter, when India’s bidding sessions ended, changed the entire world urea price situation. India’s bidding prices have pulled down the world urea price across the board. #fertilizer_price #farmers #western region #fertilizer_price #fertilizer #fertilizer #potassium_price #agriculture #fertilizer #agricultural materials #news #agriculture
