Rice price update on April 14, 2023: Rice prices continue to move sideways. Today’s rice prices in the Mekong Delta continue to be stable and sideways. According to traders, today there is little raw rice available, rice prices tend to increase again. In the world market, Vietnam’s export rice prices today have leveled off and remained sideways after an upward adjustment session. Accordingly, 5% broken rice is at 473 USD/ton; 25% broken rice is 453 USD/ton. After the first 3 months of the year, Vietnam’s rice exports recorded an output of nearly 1.9 million tons, worth more than 981 million USD, corresponding to an increase of 34% over the same period last year.
